About Cheltenham Wing Chun Kuen (CWCK)
The Cheltenham Wing Chun Kuen (CWCK) was opened in 1994 when two students of Sifu Shaun Rawcliffe and the Birmingham Wing Chun Kuen qualified as Instructors. Since that time Sifu's Steve Woodward and David Akroyd-Jones have been teaching Wing Chun as representatives of Sifu Rawcliffe and the his Association. The Cheltenham branch of the Association has been kept small and family-like enabling the students to be personally taught by the instructors. Over the years CWCK have taught many students in the art of Wing Chun and now have students that have reached instructor level in their own right. CWCK have, at time of writing, 4 qualified instructors and 4 assistant instructors who are set to carry on the excellence in instruction that was incepted by Birmingham Wing Chun Kuen and inspired by its Director Master Ip Chun.
