For those of us who practise Wing Chun Kung Fu here in the Cotswolds, Chinese New Year isn’t just another date; it marks the cultural and philosophical roots of our art.

When combined with the Fire element, these qualities are intensified. Fire brings passion, drive, and bold action. A Fire Horse year is associated with dynamism, leadership, and decisive action, qualities that are very much aligned with martial arts training.
